The Business Intelligence team in Shopee is the custodian of data and connects Shopee's business development, marketing and operations teams. We support various departments on performance reporting, dashboarding and in depth analyses to provide key business insights.

• Serve as an in-house consultant for data-driven solutions to drive actionable business impact.
• Build, test and improve automation solutions that programmatically do repetitive tasks, gather information, scrape websites or other sources, and process the data gathered.
• Able to analyse business context, business processes and data to identify problem gaps.
• Suggest automation solutions to business problems.
• Document and maintain existing automated processes making sure that they are efficient, well-structured, and sustainable in the long run.

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology / Software Engineering/ Engineering field, or equivalent relevant academic qualifications.
• Work experience in software development.
• Openness towards learning new technologies and ability to learn independently.
• Good communication skills, good team player, collaborates well in cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL is a must.
• Familiarity in data engineering is an added advantage.
• Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets, Java, Web and App Crawling, Google Appscript would be an added advantage.
• Experience in data visualization using Excel/Google Sheets/Power BI/Tableau is an added advantage.
• Experience in using LLMs to solve problems would be an optional advantage.
• This role is fully onsite (Southpoint, Midvalley).
