Role Description The Host/Server role is a full-time, on-site position based in WP. Kuala Lumpur. This role is responsible for welcoming guests, managing reservations and seating, and ensuring smooth guest flow throughout service. Daily tasks include presenting menus, taking food and beverage orders, serving dishes and drinks, checking in with guests to ensure satisfaction, and processing payments accurately. The Host/Server also supports table setup and clearing, maintains cleanliness in the dining area, and collaborates closely with kitchen and bar staff to deliver timely and consistent service. This position requires a professional, courteous demeanor and the ability to handle busy periods while maintaining a positive guest experience.

Qualifications

• Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively with guests and colleagues.
• Ability to work collaboratively, demonstrating Teamwork in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
• Basic technical aptitude (e.g., familiarity with C++ or other systems) is an advantage for using digital reservation and POS tools.
• Previous experience in restaurant or hospitality roles is preferred, with knowledge of front-of-house operations.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, carry trays safely, and work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Professional appearance and a friendly, patient, and service-focused attitude.
• Proficiency in English; additional language skills commonly used in Kuala Lumpur are an asset.
