Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Technician to join our Technical Department. The successful candidate will mainly handle technical support, troubleshooting, product testing, system configuration and complicated technical cases. The ideal candidate also should have hands-on technical skills, the ability to work well within a team, and a strong commitment to delivering excellent service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for:

* CCTV / IP CCTV

* Access Control System

* Barrier Gate System

* Long Range RFID System

* LPR / ANPR System

* Alarm System

* Networking

* Other ELV / Security Systems

• Troubleshoot hardware, software, wiring, network and configuration issues.
• Handle complicated technical cases that junior technicians are unable to solve.
• Identify the root cause of technical problems and provide suitable solutions.
• Perform product setup, configuration, testing and QC.
• Configure IP addresses, network settings, devices and related software.
• Perform firmware and software updates when required.
• Test device and system compatibility.
• Provide technical support to customers, dealers and installers through phone, WhatsApp, remote support or onsite when required.
• Support complicated warranty and product checking cases.
• Assist in testing and learning new products introduced by the Company.
• Guide and train Junior Technicians / Technical Assistants.
• Share technical knowledge and troubleshooting methods with the team.
• Prepare simple technical reports, troubleshooting records and technical documentation when required.
• Follow up assigned technical cases until completion.
• Work closely with Sales, Admin, Warranty, Store and other departments when technical support is required.

Requirements:

• 1–2 years of working experience in technical or maintenance-related roles.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Able to perform technical work independently with minimum supervision.
• Responsible, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
• Able to understand basic networking such as IP address, LAN and device communication.
• Experience with CCTV / Access Control / Barrier Gate / LPR systems will be an advantage.
• Able to identify problems and recommend the next action, not only report the issue.
• Responsible and able to follow up assigned tasks until completion.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willing to learn new products, systems and technologies.
• Basic computer and software knowledge.
• Possess own transport / valid driving licence will be an advantage.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
