About the Division/Dept
The Corporate Services Division supports the organisation in financial, regulatory and tax reporting, investment management, finance operations and credit control.
Job Purpose
The Executive is responsible to support the successful execution of the finance projects through data analysis, reconciliation, validation, and reporting activities, while providing operational and analytical support for finance-related initiatives and ad hoc projects across the division. This will be a 6-months contract position.
Main Responsibilities
1) Finance Project 1
Data extraction, validation, reconciliation, and analysis
Review of underlying policy and premium records
Preparation of supporting schedules, working papers, and management reports
2) Finance Project 2
Compilation and reconciliation of tax-related data and supporting documentation
Preparation of analyses and working papers required for discussions with external tax advisors and auditors
Support for historical reviews and documentation exercises
In addition to these projects, the individual will be deployed to support other ad hoc activities across the division, including financial reporting, finance operations, data analysis, process improvement initiatives, and other special projects as required.
Requirements & Qualifications
Degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business, or related discipline
Fresh graduates, professionals with 1 to 2 years of relevant working experience
Exposure to financial reporting, finance operations, accounting, audit, or related functions
Strong Excel skills, including data analysis and reconciliations
Meticulous, analytical, and able to work with large volumes of data
Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities
