Job Summary
To deliver after-sales service including machine installation, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, customer support, spare parts coordination, and accurate service reporting.
Responsibilities
Respond promptly to service calls at customer sites to resolve machine issues
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, software, and application-related problems on machines to restore functionality
Assist in machine installation, inspection, testing, and commissioning to ensure operational readiness
Provide clear technical explanations and support to customers to enhance user understanding and satisfaction
Coordinate with service administration to manage quotations, spare parts procurement, and delivery logistics efficiently
Escalate complex technical issues to Senior Engineer or Service Manager for timely resolution
Prepare detailed and accurate service reports and update service status to maintain transparent records
Adhere strictly to safety procedures at customer sites and company premises to ensure a safe working environment
Support overseas branches or regional customers by providing technical assistance when required
Maintain and organize service tools and continuously update technical knowledge to improve service quality
Required competencies and certifications
Diploma or NITEC in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Precision Engineering, or related field
Minimum 2 to 5 years of experience in machinery service, maintenance, or technical support
Proven skills in troubleshooting, machine installation, repair, servicing, and preventive maintenance
Effective professional communication skills for customer interaction, site support, and service follow-up
Proficient in English communication, both written and spoken
