About the role

As an IT Engineer at Zhulian Management Sdn. Bhd., you will play a crucial role in maintaining and optimising the company's complex information technology infrastructure. This full-time position is based in Bayan Lepas, Penang, and will involve ensuring the seamless operation of the organisation's networks, systems and applications.

What you'll be doing

• Proactively monitoring and troubleshooting IT systems to identify and resolve any issues

• Implementing and maintaining network configurations, security protocols and backup procedures

• Providing technical support and guidance to end-users on a range of IT-related matters

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to plan, develop and deploy new IT solutions

• Staying up-to-date with the latest IT trends and technologies to recommend improvements

• Documenting processes and procedures to ensure knowledge transfer and consistency

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as an IT Engineer or similar technical role, preferably within the Networks & Systems Administration field

• Strong knowledge of network technologies, including routing, switching, firewalls and wireless infrastructure

• Proficiency in administering Windows and Linux operating systems, as well as cloud-based platforms

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve complex technical issues

• Good communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with end-users and cross-functional teams

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on continuous improvement
