Bring your passion for flowers to life! We’re looking for a creative, detail-oriented, and customer-focused Florist to join our team. If you love working with blooms, have a flair for design, and enjoy making special moments unforgettable, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

Floral Design & Arrangement

• Design and craft stunning floral arrangements for weddings, birthdays, corporate events, funerals, and festive celebrations.
• Create customized and freestyle designs that reflect client preferences while maintaining artistic quality.
• Prepare bouquets, corsages, wreaths, centerpieces, and décor with precision and flair.
• Stay knowledgeable about flower varieties, styles, and pricing to guide customers effectively.

Flower Selection & Care

• Select, condition, and maintain flowers, plants, and foliage to ensure freshness and beauty.
• Properly store and rotate stock to guarantee top-quality blooms at all times.
• Monitor inventory to keep flowers healthy and ready for display.

Customer Service & Consultation

• Assist customers in choosing arrangements suited to their event, taste, and budget.
• Offer expert care tips for flowers and plants, including watering, pruning, and maintenance.
• Take and process customer orders accurately, ensuring timely delivery or collection.

Inventory & Supply Management

• Track and manage daily flower and supply inventory.
• Place orders with wholesalers to secure quality blooms, vases, and décor items.
• Coordinate with vendors for timely deliveries and smooth operations.

Team Collaboration

• Work hand-in-hand with fellow florists, assistants, and delivery staff to meet customer needs.
• Mentor junior florists or apprentices on floral techniques and customer engagement.

Job Requirements

• Certificate or Diploma in Floristry, Floral Design, or related field (preferred)
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in floral design or arrangement
• Proven portfolio of custom and freestyle floral creations
• Strong creativity with an eye for color, design, and composition.
• Knowledge of flower care, seasonal availability, and cultural/ceremonial symbolism.
• Ability to work with ribbons, wires, vases, and a variety of decorative materials.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to understand client needs and suggest the best floral solutions.
• Stamina to work on your feet for long hours.
• Capability to lift and handle heavy arrangements and supplies.
• Strong multitasking skills to manage multiple orders and tight deadlines.
• Experience handling peak periods such as weddings, festive seasons, and holidays.
• Willingness to work weekends, public holidays, and extended hours during busy seasons.
