Job Summary

We seek a detail-oriented Account Executive to manage end-to-end accounting processes supporting retail and eCommerce finance operations in a fast-paced, multi-channel environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage full sets of accounts to ensure accurate and compliant financial records
• Process Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) transactions to maintain timely payments and collections
• Perform bank reconciliations to verify and resolve discrepancies in financial statements
• File GST returns accurately and on schedule to comply with statutory requirements
• Execute month-end closing activities to prepare financial data for reporting
• Maintain inventory accounting and conduct stock reconciliations to ensure accurate inventory valuation
• Support financial operations across physical retail stores and eCommerce platforms including Shopify, Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok Shop
• Prepare financial and management reports to provide stakeholders with clear insights into business performance
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, banks, and other external parties to facilitate audits and financial compliance

Required competencies and certifications

• Diploma or Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field
• 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience within Singapore’s retail, eCommerce, or FMCG sectors
• Hands-on experience using Xero Accounting Software for transactional bookkeeping and reporting
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills to analyze financial data with precision
• Familiarity with inventory accounting, POS systems, and multi-channel sales platforms to support integrated financial operations

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Professional accounting certification (e.g., ISCA CA Singapore, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent)
• Experience with cloud accounting or ERP systems to enhance financial process efficiency
• Working knowledge of Singapore GST and financial reporting requirements to support compliance
• Prior exposure to inventory control and reconciliation processes to improve stock accuracy
