Centre for Novostics (*************), a subsidiary of TR at CUHK Co. Ltd., has a vision to develop cutting-edge molecular diagnostics based on cell-free nucleic acids in blood and other bodily fluids. We are currently looking for a talented and versatile part-time Visual Communication Specialist to commence as soon as possible on a contract basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance. The appointee will play a vital role in enhancing the dissemination of scientific knowledge to both the general public and the scientific community.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with researchers to visualize and conceptualize scientific ideas and create visual materials;
• Generate innovative designs that effectively communicate research findings and insights;
• Develop visual content for conferences, exhibitions and other promotional materials;
• Liaise and manage relationships with external vendors and service providers;
• Assist with special projects as required.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or above in Design or related disciplines (fresh graduates who can demonstrate a can-do attitude and a strong willingness to learn will be considered);
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate scientific ideas into visually compelling designs;
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with researchers and cross-functional teams;
• Familiar with design software and technologies (Such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign);
• Fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin and English;
• Good team player and able to work independently.
