Position Summary

As a key driver of operational excellence, the Industrial Engineer leads efforts to streamline processes, cut costs, and boost productivity across the organization. By leveraging data-driven analysis and cross-functional collaboration, this role identifies improvement opportunities, enhances supply chain performance, and strengthens workplace safety and quality. The ideal candidate brings a proactive, solutions-focused mindset to deliver measurable results and long-term value.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process Improvement: Identifying inefficiencies and implementing changes to improve productivity, quality, and safety.
• Cost Reduction: Analyzing operations to reduce costs through waste elimination, material optimization, and improved processes.
• Supply Chain Optimization: Enhancing material flow, inventory control, and shipping processes to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Ergonomics & Safety: Evaluating work environments to reduce ergonomic risks and ensure worker safety.
• Project Management: Leading or supporting initiatives involving new technologies, processes, or equipment with clear planning and execution.
• Quality & Compliance: Maintaining safety and quality standards, including ISO and RBA compliance.
• General Support: Performing other duties as needed and ensuring adherence to quality management systems (QMS).

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing or operations environment.

Technical & Functional Skills:

• Strong knowledge of process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen).
• Proficient in data analysis tools such as Excel and Power BI.
• Skilled in cost analysis, material flow optimization, and inventory management.
• Familiar with ISO 9001 and other safety, ergonomic, and quality standards.

Project & Analytical Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Capable of managing or supporting process improvement, equipment upgrade, or system enhancement projects.

Communication & Other Requirements:

• Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively report findings and lead initiatives.
• Must have own transportation.
• Work location: Sungai Jawi, Penang

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
