C++ Software Engineer (Advanced level)

Note: 1 Year contract, either extendable or convertible to Permanent

1 month retention bonus will be paid upon completion of 12 months

About the Job:

We are seeking a passionate and innovative software engineer to join our team in Electrical & Industrial Solutions Group Center of Excellence (EISG COE) to launch the next generation software solution for future enterprise engagements. Being part of the software development team, you will work in an AGILE team to turn innovative ideas into robust software, and solve complex design and implementation problems. You will also investigate new technologies and applications, and apply modern software engineering practices such as design reviews, code review, unit testing and usability testing.

Responsibilities:

·      To design and implement board test and measurement software solution

·      Work closely with solution experts to evaluate, design and develop measurement software to enhance test& measurement capabilities

·      Able to communicate the impact of technical choices to non-technical audiences, and build consensus across technical and non-technical stakeholders

·      Work on complex problems that impact the design success of current products and addresses broad design issues of future products or technologies

·      Collaborate with product marketing and business leaders to create products that advance client’s position as a market leader in measurement test

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Master Computer Science/Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a software related discipline, from an accredited college or university
• Minimum 4-5 years’ experience working with product development/engineering and product management
• Experience and demonstrated good understanding of software methodologies. Completed at least one full SDLC/agile software process cycle
• Electrical & electronics engineering background and knowledge with in-circuit testing technology and test algorithms is an added plus
• Experience in design, implementation and deployment of software that support multiple platforms
• Well-versed in modern techniques in object-oriented design, design patterns and measurement libraries
• Must have developed applications and solutions using C/C++, .NET Framework
• Familiar with tools such as Microsoft Visual Studio, SharePoint, JIRA, Git, GitLab and ClearCase
