Role Summary

The System Engineer is responsible for the deployment, implementation, support, and maintenance of IT infrastructure solutions for managed services. The role focuses mainly on server and storage environments within data centre setups.

Key Responsibilities:

· Deploy, install, configure, and implement infrastructure solutions based on project and operational requirements

· Support and troubleshoot customer environments to resolve system, server, and storage-related issues

· Perform day-to-day preventive maintenance activities to ensure systems remain healthy, stable, and operational

· Monitor system performance and identify potential risks or issues before they impact operations

· Carry out routine health checks, patching, firmware updates, and maintenance activities for supported systems

· Assist in diagnosing and resolving incidents, faults, and service interruptions within customer environments

· Support system testing, validation, and handover activities after implementation or maintenance work

· Prepare and maintain accurate technical documentation, reports, and implementation records

· Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with customer requirements, operational procedures, and security guidelines

· Provide onsite support in customer or data centre environments when required

Requirements:

· Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related field

· 1 to 3 years of relevant working experience in infrastructure implementation or system support

· Hands-on experience in server and storage environments

· Basic understanding of data centre operations and infrastructure support practices

· Familiarity with network and security concepts will be a plus
