Role Overview
The Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient stock flow, inventory accuracy, and optimal space utilization. This role plays a key part in demand planning, logistics coordination, and maintaining operational standards across the supply chain.
Key Responsibilities
Manage forecasting and planning of incoming stock to ensure optimal inventory levels and prevent stockouts or overstocking
Coordinate and oversee inbound and outbound warehouse operations to ensure smooth and timely execution
Ensure regular cycle counts and stock takes are conducted, maintaining high levels of inventory accuracy
Enforce warehouse operational SOPs, safety standards, and company policies
Plan and coordinate delivery routing for trucks to optimize efficiency and reduce delivery time
Collaborate with internal departments and logistics partners to ensure smooth container trucking operations, proactively managing and minimizing delays
Monitor stock movement and analyze inventory flow to improve operational efficiency
Optimize warehouse space utilization, including layout planning and continuous improvement initiatives
Work closely with procurement, sales, and logistics teams to align supply chain activities
Requirements
Experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or supply chain management (FMCG preferred)
Strong understanding of inventory control, forecasting, and warehouse processes
Experience in routing and delivery planning is an advantage
Familiarity with ERP/WMS systems (e.g., SAP B1) preferred
Good analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities
