Job Summary

Handle ticket escalations from the NOC Team and troubleshoot all technical network-related issues to ensure optimal network performance and security.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve escalated network technical issues to maintain service continuity and performance
• Engineer and administer network infrastructure using protocols, routing, and switching technologies
• Plan, research, and develop network security policies, standards, and procedures to safeguard network assets
• Implement, troubleshoot, and resolve issues with firewalls, Internet VPNs, and remote access technologies
• Manage cybersecurity risks by conducting vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and application security reviews
• Operate and maintain security technologies including system hardening, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and security incident response
• Utilize IT security tools such as Next Generation Firewalls (e.g., FortiGate, Sophos), Tenable Nessus, Email Security, and Endpoint Protection (e.g., Symantec, Sophos Endpoint)
• Manage SD-WAN and Ruckus WLAN deployments and troubleshooting
• Monitor network resources proactively using tools like PRTG and Zabbix to detect faults and ensure network health
• Develop automation solutions to improve operational efficiency and speed workflows
• Document technical procedures and network configurations clearly and accurately
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to present technical information and problem resolutions

Required competencies and certifications

• Possess at least one of the following IT security certifications: CCNA, Network+, Security+, or equivalent

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years of relevant hands-on network engineering and administration experience

Other Information

• On-the-job training (OJT) and training courses will be provided

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $3,800.00 - $4,300.00 per month
