Job Summary

The Assistant Supervisor supports the Supervisor in managing daily operations, supervising staff, ensuring efficient workflow, maintaining service quality, and helping achieve organizational goals through effective team guidance and operational oversight.

Responsibilities

Support the Supervisor in managing daily operations and coordinating staff activities to ensure smooth workflow

Supervise employees to ensure timely and efficient completion of assigned tasks

Monitor employee attendance, performance, and productivity to maintain operational standards

Provide guidance, training, and ongoing support to team members to enhance skills and service quality

Enforce compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and operational procedures

Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints professionally to maintain customer satisfaction

Monitor inventory levels, supplies, and equipment to ensure availability and proper functioning

Assist in scheduling staff shifts and coordinating work assignments to optimize resource allocation

Collaborate with the Supervisor to achieve departmental goals and uphold high service standards

Perform additional duties as assigned by management to support operational needs

Required competencies and certifications

Diploma or Degree in Sales, Business, Hospitality, or F&B Management

Minimum 5 years of relevant sales or business development experience

Preferred competencies and qualifications

In-depth knowledge of restaurant best practices and cooking methods

Excellent communication and organizational skills

Aptitude for multi-tasking

Ability to work cooperatively and efficiently in a team
