Position Overview:
A Task Force Security is primarily responsible for protecting property and personnel, often assigned to specific, high-risk areas or tasks. Their duties include patrolling, monitoring security systems, responding to emergencies, and enforcing security protocols.
Highly adaptable and mobile security professional assigned to support various locations, events, or situations as needed. This role involves maintaining a secure environment, preventing unauthorized access, and responding to incidents or emergencies. The ideal candidate is dependable, flexible, and capable of quickly integrating into new environments to uphold the organization's security standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Patrolling and Monitoring:
Regularly patrol assigned areas, both on foot and by vehicle, to ensure security and deter criminal activity.
Access Control:
Verify identities, control access to restricted areas, and ensure only authorized personnel enter.
Emergency Response:
Respond swiftly and effectively to security incidents, such as alarms, fire, or medical emergencies, following established procedures.
Security System Monitoring:
Monitor CCTV cameras, alarm systems, and other security devices to detect and prevent threats.
Incident Reporting:
Document and report security incidents, including unauthorized access, suspicious activity, end any security breaches to management or relevant authorities.
Enforcement of Security Policies:
Enforce company security policies, procedures, and legal regulations.
Customer Service:
Provide assistance and directions to employees, visitors, and contractors while maintaining a professional demeanor.
Specific Task Force Assignments:
May be assigned to specific tasks, such as VIP protection, asset security, or high-security area guarding, requiring specialized training and skills. Additional Considerations for a Task Force Security Guard:
Physical Fitness and Stamina:
May require a high level of physical fitness for patrolling, responding to emergencies, and potential physical confrontations.
Communication Skills:
Must be able to communicate clearly and concisely with supervisors, colleagues, and other individuals, including emergency responders.
Attention to Detail:
Must be able to observe and recognize suspicious activity and potential security threats.
Stress Management:
May need to remain calm and composed under pressure, especially during emergencies or security incidents.
Training and Certification:
May require specific training and certification in areas such as firearms, first aid, and security protocols.
Legal Compliance:
Must be aware of and comply with all applicable laws and regulations related to security guard operations.
Provide mobile and on-site security coverage for multiple facilities or events.
Conduct regular patrols to monitor premises and identify security risks.
Enforce access control procedures and verify identification of personnel and visitors.
Preferred Qualifications:
CPR, First Aid, or other emergency response certifications.
Knowledge of security systems and surveillance technology.
Experience in event security, mobile patrol, or high-security operations.
Bilingual or multilingual communication skills.
Work Conditions:
Indoor and outdoor environments in varying weather conditions.
Exposure to high-risk or high-traffic areas.
May involve long shifts or extended assignments away from home base.
Respond to alarms, emergency situations, and incidents promptly and effectively.
Complete detailed and accurate incident and daily activity reports.
Monitor surveillance equipment and security systems as required.
Support special assignments such as VIP protection, event security, or high-risk site coverage.
Deter and detect criminal or suspicious activity through visible presence and vigilance.
Communicate and coordinate with local law enforcement or emergency responders when needed.
Adhere to all organizational policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
Requirements:
High school, diploma or equivalent.
Valid CSG Certified Security guard certificate (if required).
1 + year of experience in security, military, or law enforcement preferred. Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment and adapt quickly.
Strong observation and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Physically able to stand, walk, and respond to incidents throughout the shift.
Good result in physical and mental health by medical screening

Availability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays, and oncall.
Willingness to travel or relocate temporarily for assignments.

Pay: From RM1,700.00 per month
