Responsibilities

• Provide professional service to walk-in customers
• Promote company’s products through excellent customer service
• Ensure showroom merchandise displays are well maintained
• Achieve monthly sales target
• Process POS transaction

Requirements

• GCE N-Level / O-Level or equivalent
• No qualification but with sales experience are also welcome
• Experience in furniture retail, doors, interior furnishings, or related sales will be an added advantage.
• Must be bilingual in “

English and Mandarin”

in order to communicate with the English and Mandarin speaking customers

• Positive attitude, strong sense of responsibility and good team player
• Result oriented, independent and experience in customer service and sales
• Self-motivated and good communication skill
• Proficiency with POS systems and basic computer skills
• Basic salary commensurate with experience
• High commission and special incentive (subject to individual sales performance)
• Training provided for new entry
• Permanent position

5 days week (Two off-days per week, to be taken on weekday)

or

6 days week (One off-day per week, to be taken on weekday)

Showroom working hours:
11.00am to 8.00pm / 12.00pm to 9.00pm (Weekdays)

10.30am to 9.00pm / 11.00am to 9.30pm (Weekends/PHs)

Retail

Star International has a strong retail presence with a network of 6 retail points in Singapore, 9 in Taiwan, and 2 in Malaysia.

We have also conceptualized a retail concept brand known as Star Living - a one-stop furniture and furnishing store, housing seven distinct brands, specially catered for the busy city dwellers in Singapore.

The seven distinct brands are catering to varied customer segments. They are Star; Mondi Lifestyle; LUCANO; JotterGoods; Aartical; BEDz Store and Serenade, each having its own unique brand propositions. We have consistently brought to market superior quality products in modern innovative designs that are current to modern market demands.

Export

Star International has penetrated the international market and grown an extensive export base over the years. The Group’s comprehensive range of modern and innovative furniture and furnishing products are now exported to over 30 countries in Europe (including Eastern Europe), Canada, Latin America, the Middle East, Africa, Asia Pacific, Australia, New Zealand and South Pacific Islands.
