We are a leading Building Services Contractor. To cope with our rapid business development, we are now looking for high caliber talents to join our company.
Job Responsibilities:
Prepare monthly analysis of project and company performance, including actual results against budget and forecast, and explain key variances, risks and opportunities;
Lead project financial reviews covering revenue, costs, committed costs, cost to complete, forecast final margin and cash flow;
Analyse major project cost drivers, including labour, materials, subcontractors, procurement commitments, site overheads and delay-related costs, and identify potential cost overruns at an early stage;
Review the financial impact and forecast assumptions of approved, submitted and potential Variation Orders and claims, in coordination with the QS and Commercial teams;
Monitor project working capital, including progress billings, contract assets, accounts receivable, retention, accounts payable and project cash position, and support improvement of billing and collection;
Consolidate project information into company-level P&L, cash-flow and management reports, with clear observations and recommendations for senior management;
Coordinate annual budgeting, rolling forecasts and long-term business planning;
Develop financial models, dashboards and management reports, and improve the accuracy, consistency and efficiency of financial and project data;
Work closely with Project, QS/Commercial, Procurement and other operational teams as a finance business partner;
Handle process-improvement initiatives and other assignments as required.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline;
Qualified Accountant with membership of HKICPA, ACCA or an equivalent professional accounting body;
At least five years of relevant experience in FP&A, management accounting, project finance, financial control or cost accounting;
Relevant experience in construction, engineering or another project-based industry is essential, E&M contracting experience would be an advantage;
Good understanding of project costing, cost-to-complete forecasting, WIP, revenue recognition, working capital and project cash-flow management;
Strong financial modelling and advanced Microsoft Excel skills;
Experience with Power BI or another data-visualisation tool is highly desirable;
Strong analytical, problem-solving, presentation and stakeholder-management skills.
