Job Description
We are seeking a highly passionate, motivated risk analyst to join ourConsulting and Client Services Group. As a junior member of our client-facingteam, you will engage in solving client questions and consulting projects,helping clients maximize the value of Verisk's software platforms (such asTouchstone, Touchstone Re) to understand their risk profiles, improve dataquality, and make better underwriting/reinsurance decisions.
Responsibilities
Client Engagement & Account Management: Serve as the primary contact for assigned clients, building strong relationships and providing proactive, high-quality service.
Consulting Projects & Risk Analysis: Lead complex consulting projects, performing sophisticated risk analyses for insurers, brokers, and re-insurers.
Software Expertise & Support: Troubleshoot client issues and answer technical questions regarding Verisk’s modelling platforms (e.g., Touchstone/Touchstone Re).
Model Implementation & Training: Present to clients on portfolio insights, provide training sessions, and assist with onboarding and transitioning to new model versions.
Feedback & Innovation: Act as a conduit for client feedback to internal model development and product management teams, driving product improvements.
Pre-Sales Support: Support business development efforts through demonstrations and technical presentations to prospects.
Qualifications
Proficiency in Python, R, or SQL is highly beneficial for automating workflows and manipulating data.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, actuarial science, engineering, geography, science, or a related quantitative field.
