We are partnering with a leading global digital assets and trading firm to hire anAssociate-level Production Support Engineer for its Hong Kong team. This is not a traditional application support role. The team operates much closer to an SRE / Production Engineering model , combining hands-on production ownership with coding, debugging and automation.

You will support a broad range of mission-critical trading technology acrosstrading, pricing, risk, P&L, settlement and other front-to-back platforms , while having the opportunity to automate away repetitive support work and improve the reliability of the overall environment.

Working within a small global team across Hong Kong, London and New York , you will:

1. Own production support for business-critical trading and risk systems across APAC
2. Investigate complex technical issues independently, including reading and debugging application code
3. Work across platforms supporting areas such as trading, pricing, risk, P&L, options, structured products and derivatives
4. Build automation and tooling to reduce manual support and improve platform reliability
5. Monitor application health and performance, proactively identifying potential issues
6. Lead or contribute to incident response, root cause analysis and production problem-solving
7. Partner with engineering teams globally on fixes, enhancements and longer-term improvements
8. Work directly with users and stakeholders across the trading business

What We're Looking For

1. We are open to candidates from Production Engineering, SRE, Application/Production Support or technically focused trading support backgrounds.

Ideally, you will have:

1. Approximately 4-10 years' relevant experience
2. Strong technical foundations and the ability to code in at least one language such as Python, Java, Go or C++
3. Strong SQL skills
4. Experience supporting production trading, risk, post-trade or other real-time financial systems
5. Strong troubleshooting, debugging and incident management skills
6. A genuine interest in automation and engineering away repetitive problems
7. Excellent communication skills and the confidence to interact with both technical and business stakeholders
8. Financial markets experience strongly preferred
9. Experience with electronic trading, DevOps tooling, distributed systems or digital assets would be advantageous.
