Role Data Migration Manager (Cross-Domain)

Role Summary

The Data Migration Manager will own the end-to-end data strategy, ensuring that all legacy banking data is successfully cleansed, mapped, transformed, and migrated to the new core banking platforms (Flexcube and Finastra GPP) with zero data loss. You will define the conversion methodology, manage data integrity, and lead the technical execution of dry-runs and final cutover activities.

Key Responsibilities

Migration Strategy Define the comprehensive data migration strategy, including scope, conversion methodology, reconciliation approach, and archival requirements from legacy applications to Flexcube and GPP.

Mapping & Transformation Lead the mapping, transformation rules, and data enrichment processes required to translate legacy system data into the new target architecture.

Bank Champion Act as the primary champion from the Bank side to validate, challenge, and collaborate with vendors on data mapping specifications, technical constraints, and system-wide data integration points.

Data Integrity & Governance Establish rigorous data cleansing protocols and validation frameworks to ensure high data quality and accuracy before and after migration.

Dry-Run & Cutover Orchestrate migration simulations (dry-runs) and the final production cutover, ensuring system readiness and minimal business disruption.

Integration Oversight Collaborate closely with functional workstreams (Lending, CASA, Payments) to ensure that migrated data aligns with module-specific functional requirements and reporting needs.
