The Role Drive global customs classification excellence across a complex product portfolio:

• Classify chemical and non-chemical products and maintain up-to-date master data in classification systems
• Hold global governance responsibility for non-chemical materials classification
• Monitor regulatory developments and act promptly to ensure ongoing compliance
• Prepare monthly KPI reports and statistics; support dashboard data and performance analysis
• Investigate and resolve tariff classification discrepancies, communicating clearly with relevant stakeholders
• Collaborate with business units globally to support compliance and process consistency
• Contribute to the global harmonisation of classification data and IT processes
• Provide training and advisory support to internal teams worldwide
• Support compliance assessments, audits, and documentation
• Champion automation and digitalisation within the customs classification function

What We're Looking For A technically minded customs professional ready to operate on a global scale:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related science discipline
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in customs classification, foreign trade, or trade compliance
• Familiarity with customs practices across chemical and non-chemical product categories
• Proficiency in SAP and SAP GTS is highly desirable
• Strong analytical skills with good Microsoft Office knowledge
• Fluent English (spoken and written); additional languages are a bonus
