About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on Retail Operations Assistant to support our retail stores and events across the Roborock and Laifen brands.
Reporting to the Retail Operations Lead, you will help coordinate daily operations, stock movements, order fulfilment and promotional activities. You will also cover sales duties at our retail stores (Jurong Point and Funan) when additional manpower is needed.
This role suits someone who enjoys a mix of coordination work, customer interaction and retail sales. Store coverage takes priority over routine operations support during assigned coverage shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
Retail Operations Support
Assist with daily store coordination, manpower scheduling, stock replenishment and transfers.
Work with Customer Service, warehouse and logistics teams to follow up on orders and resolve delivery issues.
Support POS system troubleshooting and order, exchange and refund processing in line with company procedures.
Maintain operational checklists, task trackers and records, and compile sales, stock and event reports.
Coordinate routine operational matters with vendors, mall representatives and internal teams.
Events and Promotions
Support trade shows, brand activations and promotional events, including setup, teardown and stock tracking.
Assist with promotional displays, signage, pricing updates and campaign execution.
Support customer engagement activities, including review requests and lucky draws.
Store Coverage and Sales
Cover store shifts during staff absences, busy periods and events.
Welcome customers, recommend suitable products and conduct live product demonstrations.
Actively support sales and contribute towards store targets during coverage shifts.
Handle customer enquiries and basic after-sales queries, escalating issues when needed.
Keep the store, product displays and demonstration units clean and presentable.
Share customer feedback, competitor observations and operational issues with the relevant managers.
Requirements:
At least 1-3 years of experience, in retail operations, retail sales or a related role.
Comfortable handling both administrative coordination and customer-facing sales duties.
Able to work independently, prioritise tasks and follow through on issues.
Confident engaging customers, demonstrating products and working towards sales targets.
Familiar with POS systems and basic spreadsheets; Shopify experience is an advantage.
Strong communication and teamwork skills. Conversational Mandarin is an advantage for liaising with Mandarin-speaking suppliers, vendors and customers.
