Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to manage full-set accounting, financial reporting, audit coordination, and statutory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-set accounts including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records
• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial statements to support informed decision-making
• Execute month-end and year-end closing processes to maintain timely financial reporting
• Coordinate external audits by liaising with auditors and tax agents to ensure compliance and smooth audit processes
• Ensure adherence to accounting standards, GST/tax regulations, and statutory requirements to maintain legal compliance
• Monitor cash flow, budgets, and financial performance to support financial stability and planning
• Review and improve accounting processes to strengthen internal controls and enhance operational efficiency
• Provide financial analysis and reporting to support management in strategic planning and performance evaluation

Required competencies and certifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in accounting roles
• Proven experience in full-set accounting and audit coordination

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• ACCA, CPA, or CA qualification
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, and accounting software
• Ability to work independently with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and meet deadlines
• Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, and Xero
