Software Engineer – BSS / CPQ
Experience: 2–6 years
Location: Kuala Lumpur

Telecom experience is mandatory.

Job Summary
We are looking for a Software Engineer with experience in enterprise application development, preferably in BSS, CPQ, Product Catalogue, or Order Management. The role involves hands-on development of scalable applications, microservices, APIs, and system integrations.

Key Responsibilities
Design and develop application modules and reusable software components.
Develop and maintain microservices, REST APIs, and integration services.
Work on BSS capabilities including Product Catalogue, CPQ, Order Management, and CRM.
Implement product configuration, pricing, order decomposition, and fulfilment workflows.
Develop applications using Java / Spring Boot / Spring Cloud or other relevant technologies.
Work with relational databases such as Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
Develop event-driven integrations using Kafka, MQ, or similar technologies.
Follow coding standards, design patterns, and development best practices.
Work with Git and collaborative software development workflows.
Prepare technical documentation, design notes, and API specifications.
Troubleshoot issues and support application enhancements and deployments.

Required Skills
2–6 years of experience in software/enterprise application development.
Strong programming skills in Java, Go, Python, or TypeScript.
Good experience with microservices and REST APIs.
Experience with Spring Boot / Spring Cloud is preferred.
Good knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
Familiarity with Linux environments.
Experience with Git and software development practices.
Strong understanding of coding standards and design patterns.

Preferred Skills
Experience in BSS/OSS, CPQ, Product Catalogue, or Order Management.
Experience with zSmart BSS, zSmart CPQ, or similar platforms.
Knowledge of Kafka/MQ, messaging, and caching.
Experience with React, Angular, or Vue is an advantage.
Knowledge of TM Forum standards.
Experience with Cloud and Kubernetes.
Exposure to AI-based pricing or recommendation solutions.
