Job Description – OSH Coordinator Responsibilities
- Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and monitor occupational safety and health activities at the workplace and project sites.
- Ensure compliance with applicable Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) requirements, company policies, and site safety procedures.
- Conduct regular site safety inspections and identify potential hazards and unsafe practices.
- Assist in HIRARC, risk assessments, and implementation of appropriate control measures.
- Prepare and maintain safety-related documentation, reports, records, and checklists.
- Conduct safety briefings, toolbox meetings, and safety awareness activities.
- Monitor workers, contractors, and site activities to ensure compliance with safety requirements.
- Assist in investigating workplace incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions, and follow up on corrective actions.
- Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and relevant parties on safety-related matters.
- Perform any other safety-related duties assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Engineering, or a related field.
- Must possess a valid OSH Coordinator (OSH-C) certification.
- Relevant experience in OSH/Safety coordination, preferably in construction, renovation, or fit-out projects.
- Good knowledge of Malaysian Occupational Safety and Health requirements and workplace safety practices.
- Familiar with HIRARC, safety inspections, toolbox meetings, incident reporting, and safety documentation.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work independently and coordinate effectively with project/site teams.
- Willing to work at project sites as required.
Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,200.00 per month
