This position will be known as Licensing Executive in MACP Berhad.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise and educate music users the need and importance to obtain a license for the use of copyrighted music;

• Actively seeking out new licensing opportunities through market survey, calling, networking and social media;

• Walk through applicants on the licensing requirements and application process; Inspect and investigate commercial premises/events for unlicensed use of copyrighted music;

• Advise, negotiate, and conclude deals with music users based on the Company’s licensing tariffs or best possible commercial term;

• Manage administrative tasks including assessing application, invoicing, collating information, monitor payment to facilitate business operators’ and event organizers' compliance;

• Suggest, propose and liaise within-house lawyers in respect of enforcement matters involving the Company;

Qualification & Experience:

• Minimum requirement: Possesses a Diploma/Higher Diploma in Business Studies, Marketing, Administration, Mass Communication, or equivalent.

• 1-2 years of working experience in sales and marketing preferred; Fresh graduates are welcome to join as training is provided.

• Strong persuasive and negotiation skills with demonstrated ability to work independently.

• Good personal characteristics with honesty and integrity.

• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.

• Mandarin language skills will be an added advantage.

• Candidate must possess own transportation.
