About the Role
You will be a key member of the Organisation Planning and Performance team, leveraging data and analytics to support decision-making across NCCS. Working closely with Management and stakeholders, you will analyse large and complex datasets, identify trends and performance gaps, and translate data into actionable insights and recommendations — covering areas such as workload, market share, service quality, and resource utilisation.
The role requires strong analytical capabilities, intellectual curiosity, attention to detail, and the ability to synthesise complex information into clear, impactful presentations for Senior Management.
This is a highly visible role that offers early-to-mid career professionals significant exposure to senior leadership, healthcare trends and cancer care developments, along with excellent opportunities for professional growth in a dynamic environment.
Some of the Key Responsibilities include:
Prepare, analyse and interpret business operational data, translating findings into actionable insights and recommendations for management presentations
Develop analytical frameworks to monitor organisational performance against suitable benchmarks
Compile workload and waiting time reports and other relevant key performance indicators for timely submission to SingHealth Statistics Unit, MOH and cluster partners, while addressing errors or data discrepancies between databases and systems
Develop, maintain and enhance dashboards and reporting tools to improve data accessibility and self-service
Improve reporting processes through automation and streamlining where possible
Support NCCS and departments in strategic projects, annual work plan exercises, and data requests through data-driven analyses
Partner business units to understand operational challenges and identify opportunities to apply a data-driven approach to address business issues
Job Requirements:
Degree in Business Administration, Accountancy, Economics, Statistics, or related fields
3–7 years of relevant experience (experience in the healthcare or public sector is an advantage)
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Ability to translate data into meaningful business insights and recommendations
Strong visualisation skills using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and PowerPoint for storytelling and dashboard development
Excellent problem-solving and presentation skills
Meticulous, organised and detail-oriented
Fast and independent learner who can quickly understand complex business processes, systems and datasets
Strong communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to simplify complex analyses for senior stakeholders
