Responsibilities
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Technical Director (AVP) to lead the technical strategy, architecture, and engineering excellence for our Smart Security & Automation solutions. You will provide technical leadership across product development, solution delivery, and digital transformation initiatives while ensuring scalable, secure, and high-quality solutions that align with business objectives.
Responsibilities
Define and drive the technical roadmap, solution architecture, and engineering standards.
Provide technical leadership for complex security, automation, and systems integration projects.
Lead technical reviews, resolve critical technical issues, and ensure successful project delivery.
Drive engineering governance, cybersecurity compliance, system reliability, and quality assurance.
Partner with Sales and customers to develop technical solutions, support tenders, and present solution proposals.
Oversee IT/OT integration, cloud technologies, and infrastructure security best practices.
Mentor and develop architects, technical leads, and engineering teams while fostering innovation and continuous improvement.
Collaborate with technology partners and vendors to evaluate emerging technologies and standardise solutions.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Computer, Systems Engineering, or related discipline). A Master's Degree is an advantage.
Minimum 15 years of experience in security systems, automation, or large-scale systems integration.
Proven experience leading complex technical projects and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Strong knowledge of physical security systems, IT/OT infrastructure, networking, cloud technologies, and enterprise architecture.
Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills, with experience engaging customers and senior leadership.
Strong strategic thinking, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
