SCCM & Intune Engineer (1 year contract)

Location: Malaysia – Remote

Travel Requirement: Up to 50% business travel

About the Opportunity

Our client is an established international technology solutions provider supporting enterprise customers across modern workplace, cloud, infrastructure, and digital transformation initiatives.

They are currently looking for an experienced SCCM & Intune Engineer to join their growing technical team in Malaysia.

This role will focus on the deployment, administration, optimization, and troubleshooting of enterprise endpoint environments using Microsoft Configuration Manager (SCCM) and Microsoft Intune. The successful candidate will also work closely with customers and internal stakeholders on endpoint security, device management, migration, and modern workplace initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, administer, and maintain Microsoft Configuration Manager (SCCM) and Microsoft Intune environments.
• Manage the full lifecycle of Windows endpoints, including device provisioning, patch management, software/application deployment, configuration management, and asset management.
• Implement and maintain Mobile Device Management (MDM) and Mobile Application Management (MAM) policies through Microsoft Intune.
• Work closely with security, infrastructure, and customer teams to implement device compliance, endpoint security, and data protection policies.
• Support the enrollment, configuration, and policy deployment of both corporate-owned and BYOD devices.
• Configure and support Microsoft endpoint and identity technologies, including Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Conditional Access, and Windows Autopilot.
• Troubleshoot SCCM and Intune-related incidents, including device enrollment issues, application deployment failures, policy conflicts, and endpoint configuration problems.
• Monitor and optimize endpoint management infrastructure to ensure system stability, security, and performance.
• Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate endpoint administration and operational tasks.
• Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and configuration records.
• Provide technical support and solution guidance to customers where required.
• Participate in customer engagements and business travel across project sites when necessary.

Requirements

• Solid hands-on experience with Microsoft SCCM / Configuration Manager and Microsoft Intune.
• Strong understanding of SCCM and Intune architecture, functionality, integration, and enterprise deployment.
• Good knowledge of Windows client administration and enterprise endpoint management.
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation.
• Hands-on knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Conditional Access, Windows Autopilot, MDM, and MAM.
• Experience with Windows patch management, application packaging and deployment, device configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Experience supporting endpoints within a large-scale enterprise environment is highly preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with the ability to diagnose complex endpoint management issues.
• Good communication, stakeholder management, and customer-facing skills.
• Comfortable with up to 50% business travel.
• Proficiency in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant Microsoft certifications, such as Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate (MD-102) or equivalent.
• Experience managing cross-platform endpoints, including Windows, iOS, Android, and macOS.
• Exposure to enterprise security, identity management, or Modern Workplace / Microsoft 365 technologies.
• Experience supporting large-scale endpoint migration, modernization, SCCM-to-Intune migration, or co-management projects would be a strong advantage.
