BRIEF DESCRIPTION

We are seeking to expand our Operations Team with new talent as part of our continued growth and strategic development. This position works with the reporting head and team members in the department to execute service agreements at, or above the customers' standards. He or she is accountable to handle Sea, Air & Land shipments; documentation preparation and to also work closely with the Sales Team to deliver excellent service to our customers.

JOB SCOPE

Timely completion of documentation flow to facilitate the import/export/cross trade shipments.

Issue shipment related documents (i.e. Bill of Lading, import/export permits, invoices, etc).

Coordinate closely with customers, vendors and overseas agents to deliver a seamless supply chain flow.

Handle both local and overseas customers’ queries.

Ensure timely monthly closing of all jobs and maintaining relevant documents pertaining to shipments to provide a record and review trail.

Assist in operations & logistics planning.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR

Minimum 1-year operational experience in freight forwarding is required for this position.

Preferably specialised in Logistics/Supply Chain or equivalent will be an added advantage.

Freight forwarding experience and a thorough understanding of transport and logistics processes in at least Sea mode of transport will be an added advantage.

Result oriented, pro-active and possess a positive work attitude with good customer service.

Fluency in both written and verbal communication skills (English).

Required Skill(s): Microsoft Office (Word / Excel), preferably Microsoft Outlook as well.
