About the role

As a Beauty Assistant at LEIA, you will be responsible for providing a welcoming and enjoyable shopping experience for every customer. You will assist customers in understanding our hair styling products, recommend suitable products based on their hair needs, and demonstrate how to use the products correctly.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome and assist customers in a friendly, professional, and approachable manner.
• Understand customers' hair concerns, styling preferences, and needs before recommending suitable LEIA products.
• Introduce and explain product features, benefits, functions, and usage instructions clearly.
• Conduct live product demonstrations and guide customers during product trials.
• Provide simple hair styling services, such as hair straightening, curling, and creating hair volume.
• Build good relationships with customers and deliver a positive in-store experience.
• Achieve individual and store sales targets by providing genuine and suitable product recommendations.
• Handle customer enquiries regarding products, promotions, warranties, and after-sales services.
• Assist with cashiering, payment collection, and basic order processing.
• Arrange merchandise and ensure that all product displays are clean, organised, and visually attractive.

About you

• Minimum SPM qualification or equivalent.
• Fresh graduates and candidates without previous experience are welcome to apply.
• Previous experience in retail, beauty, hair care, customer service, or sales will be an advantage.
• Interested in hair care, hair styling, beauty products, and personal grooming.
• Friendly, confident, responsible, and comfortable communicating with customers.
• Willing to learn product knowledge and basic hair styling techniques.
• Able to work independently and cooperate well with team members.
• Sales-oriented with a positive attitude and good customer service skills.
• Able to communicate in Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Willing to work according to a retail shift schedule, including weekends and public holidays.
