Senior Scientist, Bioconjugation & Targeted RNA Delivery (Career Growth Opportunity)

You are a hands-on scientist with expertise in bioconjugation chemistry and targeted delivery technologies. You enjoy solving complex molecular design challenges in the laboratory and want to see your science translated into the next generation of therapeutics.

THE ROLE

As Senior Scientist, Bioconjugation & Targeted RNA Delivery, you will play a key role in developing ligand-oligonucleotide conjugates (LOCs) designed to enable targeted delivery beyond the liver.

This is a laboratory-based position with substantial scientific ownership. You will lead experimental programmes focused on designing, synthesising and characterising novel conjugates while working closely with multidisciplinary teams to optimise delivery, selectivity and therapeutic impact across a range of tissues. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and develop ligand-oligonucleotide conjugates (LOCs) for targeted RNA delivery.
• Lead hands-on synthesis, purification and analytical characterisation of novel conjugates.
• Work closely with chemists, biologists and pharmacologists to optimise in vitro and in vivo delivery performance.
• Drive project execution, manage external partners and maintain high-quality experimental data.

ABOUT YOU

• PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Biology, Medicinal Chemistry or a related discipline.
• 2-6 years of industry experience in bioconjugation, targeted delivery or oligonucleotide therapeutics.
• Strong expertise in conjugation chemistry, purification and analytical characterisation.
