Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Technology Solutions Delivery Leader to lead technology strategy, solution design, development, modernization, and delivery for Life & Health insurance systems.

The role will focus on driving the modernization of Policy Administration Systems (PAS), cloud adoption, microservices/containerization, DevOps automation, and technology standardization across multiple countries and markets.

The successful candidate will work closely with business leaders, technology teams, vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders to define technology roadmaps and deliver scalable, secure, and reusable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Define technology solution roadmaps and implementation strategies for Life & Health systems.
• Lead the development, modernization, and infrastructure strategy for Policy Administration Systems (PAS).
• Drive adoption of cloud-hosted applications, microservices, containerization, and DevOps practices.
• Promote automated software deployment and CI/CD practices.
• Design scalable, harmonized, and reusable technology solutions.
• Partner with Group, Market, Country, and Business technology teams to align technology solutions with business objectives.
• Lead technology solution prioritization, project planning, implementation, and delivery.
• Drive standardization and modernization of Life insurance systems across multiple countries.
• Manage technology projects throughout their lifecycle, including resources, budgets, risks, change management, and stakeholder expectations.
• Lead multi-geography technology teams and ensure effective resource allocation and team development.
• Manage internal and external stakeholders, technology partners, and vendors.
• Work closely with application, infrastructure, security, and other technology teams.
• Provide technical leadership and act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for assigned technology solutions.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to IT team members.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
• Minimum 12 years of IT experience.
• At least 5 years in a Senior Managerial position or above.
• Strong experience in system development and technology solution delivery.
• Proven managerial and team leadership experience.
• Experience managing front-end/business-facing technology systems.
• Experience working across multiple geographies/countries.
• Strong experience in technology roadmap, solution design, project delivery, and stakeholder management.
• Experience in the Life Insurance domain is highly preferred.
• Experience implementing Life insurance systems such as Policy Administration, Point of Sales, Compensation, or Workflow systems will be an advantage.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodology and project management.
• Strong business understanding and financial acumen.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Pay: RM20,000.00 - RM25,000.00 per month
