Job Description
We are looking for a full-time trainer to conduct MEWP operator courses in
Bengali
. Trainer has the primary responsibility of delivering general and specific instructions for operators regarding the inspection, application and operation of MEWP equipment, including recognition and avoidance of hazards associated with their use. These and other industry practices require the inclusion of, but are not necessarily limited to, the following issues and requirements:
The actual operation of the aerial platform “under the direction of a qualified person.”
The need for the trainee to operate the aerial platform(s) for a sufficient period of time to demonstrate proficiency in the actual operation of all functions of the aerial platform.
Current regulations and standards.
The need to perform workplace inspections.
Recognition and avoidance of common hazards.
Operator warnings and instructions.
The purpose and use of manuals.
A pre-start inspection.
Factors affecting stability.
The use and purpose of personal protective equipment.
General equipment components.
Safe use of equipment.
The proper selection of the MEWP equipment for the job at hand.
When properly completed, operator training is the first step toward qualifying an operator to operate any like-type of MEWP equipment as long as he/she is also familiarized with the controls and safety devices of the other like-type equipment.
Working Days / Time
6 day work week ( 8 30am - 5 15pm) with 1 rest day on any days of the week.
Requirements
ACTA
WSH LEVEL B
Able to speak, read and write Bengali
Able to speak and understand English
Preferred to have MEPW operator certificate or prior experience in being a trainer in MEWP.
Salary Range
$4,500 - $4,800 depending on age and relevant working experiences.
