Job Description:

• Prepare and cook food according to recipes and company standards.
• Ensure food is prepared consistently and presented properly.
• Assist with food preparation, including cutting, marinating and portioning ingredients.
• Maintain proper food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness.
• Monitor food quality and freshness of ingredients.
• Operate and maintain kitchen equipment safely.
• Assist with stock checking and proper storage of ingredients.
• Minimise food wastage and maintain efficient kitchen operations.
• Follow food safety, hygiene and workplace safety requirements.
• Perform other kitchen duties assigned by the supervisor or management.

Job Requirements:

• Relevant experience in a restaurant, food outlet or commercial kitchen is preferred.
• Candidates with relevant culinary experience are encouraged to apply.
• Knowledge of food preparation and kitchen hygiene.
• Able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Responsible, hardworking and team-oriented.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends and public holidays when required.
