Retail Operations Manager

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on

Retail Operations Manager

to oversee the day-to-day operations and overall performance of our retail outlets.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth operations, maintaining service and operational standards, managing manpower, monitoring business performance, and supporting the continuous growth of the company.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee and manage the overall daily operations of multiple retail outlets.

Ensure all outlets operate efficiently and in accordance with company policies, SOPs and operational standards.

Monitor outlet sales, expenses, manpower costs and overall business performance.

Review operational performance and identify areas for improvement.

Manage manpower planning, staff deployment, duty rosters and operational staffing requirements.

Supervise and support outlet managers and operational staff.

Conduct regular outlet visits and inspections to ensure service quality, cleanliness and operational standards are maintained.

Ensure proper inventory management, stock control and ordering procedures.

Monitor customer service standards and handle operational or customer-related issues when necessary.

Coordinate with HR, Finance, Marketing, Procurement and other departments on operational matters.

Support recruitment, onboarding, training and performance management of retail employees.

Ensure compliance with relevant company policies and Singapore regulatory requirements.

Assist Management in implementing new operational policies, procedures and business initiatives.

Support new outlet openings, renovations, relocations and other expansion projects when required.

Prepare operational reports and provide regular updates to Management.

Perform other operational and management duties as assigned by Management.

Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Business Management, Retail Management, Hospitality Management or a related field.

Relevant experience in retail, F&B, hospitality or multi-outlet operations.

Previous supervisory or managerial experience is preferred.

Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.

Good understanding of manpower planning, cost control and daily outlet operations.

Able to manage multiple outlets and priorities effectively.

Hands-on, responsible and able to work independently.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced operational environment.

Willing to travel between different outlets as required.

Able to work flexible hours, including weekends and Public Holidays, when operationally required.
