Job Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for handling a portfolio of clients and providing outsourced accounting and fund administration services.

Outsourced Accounting

Handle full sets of accounts for a portfolio of clients.

Perform bookkeeping and maintain accounting records in accordance with applicable accounting standards.

Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual management accounts and financial reports.

Perform bank reconciliations, accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger reconciliations.

Prepare accounting schedules and supporting documents for audit and tax purposes.

Assist in GST preparation and filing.

Liaise with clients, auditors, tax agents, banks and other relevant parties.

Ensure accounting records and reports are completed accurately and within deadlines.

Fund Administration

Handle accounting and administration for investment funds and fund-related entities.

Maintain fund accounting records and transaction schedules.

Record investment transactions, capital contributions, distributions, management fees and other fund-related transactions.

Perform bank and investment reconciliations.

Assist in the preparation of NAV calculations and fund financial reports.

Maintain investor/shareholder records and supporting documentation.

Assist with capital call and distribution schedules where applicable.

Liaise with fund managers, auditors, banks and other service providers.

Support year-end audit and financial statement preparation for fund clients.

Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.

Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Candidates with accounting, audit or outsourced accounting experience will have an advantage.

Experience in handling full sets of accounts independently.

Knowledge of Singapore accounting, GST and compliance requirements will be an advantage.

Fund accounting or fund administration experience will be an advantage.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

Able to manage multiple client portfolios and meet deadlines.

Good communication and client-handling skills.

Detail-oriented, responsible and able to work independently as well as in a team.
