Position: Functional Tester

Client: CIMB

Employment Type: 12-month contract (renewable)

Location: MSB (Menara Southern Bank), Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Working Arrangement: Onsite, 5 days a week (Mondays-Fridays)

Working Hours in MY time: 9AM - 6PM

About the Role

We are seeking a Functional Tester with strong banking experience to support end-to-end testing of banking applications. The role involves test planning, execution, defect management, and ensuring solutions meet business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop test scripts, test conditions, test data, and expected results across various testing phases.
• Execute test scripts and document defects, issues, and steps to reproduce.
• Develop and maintain testing standards, procedures, and documentation.
• Collaborate with application teams to resolve testing issues and validate product fixes.
• Participate in release control and ensure solutions meet business and technical requirements.
• Escalate issues that may impact project timelines, budget, or quality.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Relevant experience in Manual Testing, Test Automation, Test Management, and Agile Testing.
• Strong experience in Banking, particularly Internet Banking applications.
• Good understanding of software testing concepts, application requirements, and project lifecycle.
• Strong attention to detail with good documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently, learn quickly, and perform effectively under pressure.

Pay: RM7,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
