Job Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day hospital operations and facilities, including M&E systems, civil works, sanitary and plumbing systems, fixtures and fittings, common areas and other hospital infrastructure to ensure a safe, functional and comfortable environment.

• Interdepartmental Coordination – Liaise and coordinate closely with clinical and non-clinical departments to address operational requirements, facility issues and service-related matters, ensuring smooth day-to-day hospital operations and minimal disruption to patient care and services.

• Monitor outsourced and hospital support services under the Operations Department, including housekeeping, parking and other appointed services, ensuring compliance with agreed service levels and KPIs.

• Manage contractors, vendors and service providers, including monitoring work performance, service contracts and quotations; raising Purchase Requests (PR) and coordinating Purchase Orders (PO); verifying work completion and service reports; monitoring invoice submission; and following up with Finance/Accounts Payable on vendor payment status to ensure timely processing.

• Maintain operational records and reports, including maintenance activities, incidents, complaints, parking matters, contractor performance, KPIs and outstanding action items, and provide regular updates to the Manager, Operations.

Job Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree / Post Graduate Diploma / Professional Degree in Facilities Management, Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Civil/Biomedical), Building Services, Property/Building Management, Healthcare Management, Operations Management or other relevant discipline.

• Preferably 2–3 years of working experience in hospital operations, facilities management, building maintenance, M&E services, project coordination or a related field.

• Experience in a hospital or healthcare environment, vendor and contractor management, procurement processes, Purchase Requests (PR), invoicing and payment coordination will be an added advantage.
