Job Responsibilities

• Carry out routine inspection of building structures, finishes and civil works.
• Perform basic repair and maintenance works involving walls, ceilings, floors, doors, roofing, plumbing-related civil works and other building components.
• Attend to defects, damages and maintenance complaints reported by clients or building users.
• Conduct site inspections and identify building defects or areas requiring repair.
• Assist in minor renovation, rectification and improvement works.
• Monitor contractors and service providers carrying out civil and building maintenance works.
• Ensure completed works meet the required quality and site specifications.
• Prepare basic maintenance records, work reports and defect updates.
• Assist in measuring, checking and monitoring materials required for maintenance works.
• Ensure all work is carried out safely and according to site procedures.
• Support the facilities management team in daily building operations.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Supervisor/Engineer/Facilities Manager.

Requirements

• Certificate, SKM, Diploma or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering, Building, Construction or related field.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience in building maintenance, civil works or facilities management is preferred.
• Knowledge of basic building repair and maintenance works.
• Able to identify common building defects and carry out basic rectification works.
• Ability to read basic technical/building drawings is an advantage.
• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and conduct site inspections.

Pay: RM2,300.00 - RM2,900.00 per month
