The Multinational Network Manager plays a critical role in the execution and delivery of multinational insurance programs across Asia Pacific. Acting as the central coordination point between producing offices, local operating entities, network partners, brokers, underwriters, claims teams, and operations functions, the role ensures the seamless implementation, servicing, and governance of multinational programs. This role is instrumental in supporting Sompo's strategic objective of strengthening multinational capabilities and delivering a consistent client experience across the region.

Key Responsibilities

Multinational Program Management

• Manage the end-to-end implementation and servicing of multinational insurance programs across APAC.
• Coordinate global and regional programs involving multiple countries, local carriers, and network partners.
• Ensure successful execution of controlled master programs and locally admitted policies.
• Monitor program timelines and service deliverables to ensure compliance with agreed service standards.
• Support multinational business growth through efficient program administration and execution.

Network Management

• Act as the primary liaison between APAC operating companies and international network partners.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with network insurers and key service providers.
• Monitor network service performance and ensure adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).
• Escalate and resolve service delivery issues impacting multinational clients.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the multinational network.

Broker and Client Relationship Support

• Work closely with multinational brokers, providing expert guidance on multinational servicing processes and network capabilities.
• Support broker negotiations relating to program implementation requirements.
• Participate in client and broker meetings where required.
• Ensure exceptional service delivery and responsiveness to client needs.

Policy Delivery and Compliance

• Coordinate local policy issuance, endorsements, renewals, and certificates.
• Ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements and insurance laws across APAC jurisdictions.
• Monitor adherence to multinational governance standards and operating procedures.
• Support premium allocation and local policy documentation processes.
• Maintain accurate documentation within multinational program management platforms.

Claims and Service Coordination

• Work closely with claims teams to facilitate multinational claims coordination.
• Monitor claims notification and escalation processes.
• Support timely resolution of complex cross-border servicing issues.
• Drive consistency in service delivery standards across participating countries.

Data Analytics and Reporting

• Produce multinational portfolio reports and performance dashboards.
• Monitor key performance indicators including:
• Policy issuance timeliness
• Network responsiveness
• Service delivery standards
• Renewal performance
• Compliance metrics
• Analyze service trends and identify opportunities for operational enhancement.
• Support management reporting and business planning activities.

Process Improvement and Transformation

• Identify opportunities to streamline multinational servicing processes.
• Support regional digital transformation initiatives impacting multinational business.
• Participate in system enhancement and automation projects.
• Contribute to the ongoing development of APAC multinational operating capabilities, which have been identified as a strategic regional priority.

Experience and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Insurance or related discipline.
• 5-10 years of experience within:
• Commercial Insurance
• Multinational Programs
• Global Accounts
• International Insurance Operations
• Network Management
• Client Servicing
• Underwriting Operations
• Strong understanding of multinational insurance programs and international placement structures.
• Experience managing relationships across multiple stakeholders and jurisdictions.
• Strong knowledge of APAC insurance markets and regulatory environments.
• Proven ability to coordinate complex, multi-country insurance programs.
