We are seeking a responsible and hands-on Science Lab Technician to support Science practical activities, laboratory operations and the school’s green learning spaces. 

Job Description 

• Provide logistical and technical support for Science lessons, including preparation and maintenance of materials and laboratory apparatus. 

• Maintain Science laboratory safety through proper housekeeping, risk assessment compliance and regular checks of safety equipment and fittings. 

• Maintain the school’s outdoor green learning spaces through weeding, pruning, plant propagation, harvesting and routine equipment maintenance. 

• Assist with stock checks, resource orders, deliveries, invoices and departmental financial records. 

• Perform simple repairs on common Science learning materials and activity kits. 

• Perform other duties assigned by the School Leaders, HOD (Science) and assigned school staff. 

Requirements 

• Minimum GCE O Level or at least 2 years’ experience working in a Primary School laboratory. 

• Good understanding of laboratory safety. 

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. 

• Hands-on skills in simple repairs of Science learning materials. 

• Knowledge and practical skills in plant growing and maintenance. 

• Good communication skills and able to work well with adults and children.

• Contract Period: 1 Jan 2027 to 31 Dec 2027 (12 months) 

• Working Hours: Mon–Fri, 7:30am–5:00pm, inclusive of 1-hour lunch break
