Duties& Responsibilities

• Preparation and implementation of the Project HSE System in compliance with Company and Contract requirements.
• Planning and carrying out training, meetings and inspections for HSE activities (including Suppliers activities and personnel)
• Coordination of HSE activities With Company, subcontractor, Suppliers, local authorities and JV.
• Manage heavy lifting/crane operations, rigging, hot work, confined-space entry and LOTO during construction and commissioning.
• Attend weekly and monthly meetings and present the H&S statistics and concerns
• Organize regular HSE walk downs on the yard to ensure HSE good practises are implemented and followed. Discover breaches of safety rules during site inspection and ensure corrective actions
• Investigation of the accidents/ near misses, prepare awareness and training to prevent recurrence

Required Experience

• Educational Level: Bachelor or equivalent, be qualified in NEBOSH and safety standards, and certification as a Authorized Gas Tester (NIOSH) is mandatory
• 20+ years of HSE Experience, with over 3 projects operating at HSE Lead or above.
• Extensive HSE experience within marine/offshore fabrication-yard construction.
• Previous experience supporting at least one (1) floating production / offshore construction projects.
• Previous experience supporting at least one (1) LNG project.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of high-risk activities including heavy lifting/crane operations, rigging, hot work, confined-space entry and LOTO during construction and commissioning.
• Experience as an Emergency Response Coordinator /Advisor, including preparation and execution of emergency drills and integrated exercises during construction, commissioning and start-up phases.
• Demonstrated competency in PTW, JHA/JSA, Work Method Statement review and construction risk assessment.
• Experience managing HSE through Construction, Pre-Commissioning, Commissioning and Start-Up phases, including emergency-response exercises.
• Experience performing contractor HSE audits and compliance reviews, including review/approval of contractor, Work Method Statements and emergency-response arrangements.
