Key Responsibilities:

• Implement, maintain, and continuously improve EHS policies, procedures, and management systems in accordance with applicable Singapore WSH regulations, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 9001, and bizSAFE requirements.
• Conduct regular workplace inspections, safety audits, risk assessments, site observations, and compliance reviews to identify hazards and prevent incidents.
• Review and monitor Risk Assessments (RA), Safe Work Procedures (SWP), Permit-to-Work (PTW) and other EHS documentation to ensure effective implementation.
• Monitor and manage contractor and subcontractor EHS compliance, ensuring safe work practices and adherence to company and statutory requirements.
• Lead or support the investigation of workplace incidents, accidents, dangerous occurrences, and near misses, including root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and follow-up.
• Ensure timely submission of required reports and notifications to relevant regulatory authorities, where applicable.
• Coordinate internal and external EHS audits, regulatory inspections, customer audits, and certification activities, and ensure timely closure of corrective and preventive actions.
• Develop and deliver EHS training, toolbox meetings, safety briefings, emergency response drills, and awareness programmes for employees and contractors.
• Monitor EHS performance through KPIs, inspections, audit findings, incident trends, and corrective action tracking, and provide regular reports to management.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen EHS standards, operational controls, and safety performance, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Promote a strong proactive safety culture by engaging employees, supervisors, contractors, and management in EHS initiatives.
• Liaise with regulatory authorities, customers, contractors, service providers, and internal stakeholders on EHS-related matters.
• Maintain accurate EHS records, statutory documentation, permits, training records, inspection reports, and audit documentation.
• Provide practical EHS advice and support to operational teams to ensure safe and compliant execution of activities.
• Perform other EHS-related duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Environmental, Health & Safety, Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant EHS experience, preferably in logistics, manufacturing, industrial, engineering, construction, or project environments.
• Familiarity with ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 9001, and bizSAFE requirements.
• Experience in risk assessment, workplace inspections, safety audits, incident investigation, contractor management, and EHS management systems.
• Experience working with regulatory authorities, customers, contractors, and external auditors will be an advantage.
• Relevant EHS/WSH qualifications or certifications will be an advantage.
• Proactive and practical approach to identifying hazards and implementing effective corrective actions.
