Event & Exhibition Executive
Job Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and execute company participation in food exhibitions, trade shows, fairs, roadshows, and corporate events.
- Manage the end-to-end event process, including planning, budgeting, booth setup, logistics, staffing, and post-event activities.
- Coordinate with exhibition organisers, contractors, suppliers, event agencies, and internal departments.
- Arrange booth design, production, installation, dismantling, promotional materials, product displays, and event equipment.
- Coordinate product samples, food demonstrations, promotional activities, and product presentations during events.
- Work closely with the Sales and Marketing teams to generate leads and strengthen customer and business relationships.
- Welcome and engage visitors, customers, distributors, suppliers, and business partners at exhibitions and events.
- Prepare event materials including brochures, product catalogues, banners, presentations, samples, and other promotional items.
- Support the introduction and promotion of the company’s food products and new product launches.
- Maintain and follow up on leads collected from exhibitions and events.
- Track event expenses and prepare event reports, including visitor feedback, leads generated, and overall results.
- Conduct market and competitor observations during exhibitions to identify relevant industry trends and opportunities.
- Manage event schedules and ensure all arrangements are completed within the required timeline.
- Ensure all events are conducted according to company standards, food safety requirements, and relevant regulations.
- Perform other event, marketing, and business support duties assigned by management.
Job Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Event Management, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in event management, exhibitions, trade shows, marketing, or a related role.
- Experience in the food manufacturing, food production, FMCG, or related industry is an advantage.
- Must be able to speak and communicate in Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin-speaking customers, suppliers, business partners, and event stakeholders.
- Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Strong project management and organisational skills.
- Creative, energetic, and confident when interacting with customers and event visitors.
- Good communication, negotiation, and coordination skills.
- Able to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
- Willing to travel and work on weekends or public holidays when required for exhibitions and events.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of design or event-related software is an added advantage.
Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
