Minimum SPM, Certificate, or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Machining, or a related field.

At least 1–2 years of experience operating conventional or CNC lathe machines (preferred).

Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.

Knowledge of measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, and dial gauges.

Familiar with machining processes, cutting tools, and machine maintenance.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.

Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Willing to work shifts and overtime when required.

Knowledge of workplace safety practices and PPE requirements.

Set up and operate lathe machines to manufacture components according to engineering drawings and specifications.

Measure and inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards and tolerances.

Select appropriate cutting tools, speeds, and feeds for machining operations.

Perform routine machine maintenance, cleaning, and basic troubleshooting.

Report machine defects, quality issues, or production problems to the supervisor.

Maintain accurate production records and inspection reports.

Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and housekeeping standards (5S).

Assist with other machining or production tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
