Hiring: Oracle ADF Developer

Location: Malaysia

Contract: 1-Year Contract

Industry: Insurance

Experience: Minimum 6 years

Important: ADF in this role refers to Oracle Application Development Framework (Oracle ADF), NOT Azure Data Factory.

We are looking for an experienced Java / Oracle ADF Developer to join our team for a 1-year contractual role. Candidates with strong Java development experience who are looking to transition to Oracle ADF are also welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in project design and technical discussions

• Develop business applications based on technical designs and specifications

• Perform application coding using prescribed development tools within project schedules and established SDLC standards

• Develop test plans and test data and perform comprehensive unit, modular, and integration testing

• Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities and ensure proper UAT completion and sign-off

• Maintain complete documentation for coding changes and enhancements

• Assist in developing project schedules

• Support post-implementation review activities

• Ensure development activities comply with established project standards and SDLC methodology

️ Technical Requirements

Mandatory:

• Minimum 6 years of development experience in Java / Oracle ADF applications

• Strong experience with Oracle Application Development Framework (Oracle ADF)

• Preferably experienced with Oracle ADF 12c and above

• Strong knowledge of ADF Faces and Task Flows

• Experience with ADF Business Components, including:

• Application Modules (AM)
• View Objects (VO)
• Entity Objects (EO)

Good to Have:

• Oracle Database / DB2 Database

• PL/SQL and Stored Procedures

• Java J2EE

• JavaScript

• HTML

• XML

• MQ

Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent

• Candidates with 6+ years of Java development experience who wish to change programming platforms and develop their skills in Oracle ADF are welcome to apply

• Strong analytical, organisational, and time-management skills

• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities

• Good verbal and written English communication skills

• Ability to multitask, prioritise workloads, and meet deadlines

• Experience in the Insurance Industry is an added advantage
