We are pleased to be partnering a fast-growing regional payments infrastructure client to appoint a Talent Acquisition Lead into their People team. With a strong presence in Malaysia and expanding teams across key markets in Southeast and South Asia, they are scaling rapidly in a regulated, high-growth environment. This role will be based in Kuala Lumpur (Golden Triangle area), Malaysia - default arrangement is five-days-in-office.
Job Description
- Own end-to-end Talent Acquisition strategy and operations, covering both high-volume and specialist hiring needs
- Design and implement recruitment frameworks, SLAs, scorecards, pipelines and performance metrics (time-to-hire, quality of hire, cost per hire) where limited structure currently exists
- Drive candidate attraction and employer branding initiatives tailored to the different talent markets
- Partner closely with the People Director and business leaders on headcount forecasting, workforce planning and critical hires that support regional growth
- Manage sourcing channels, vendor/agency relationships, job portal spend and recruitment tooling
- Deliver a strong candidate experience while navigating ambiguity and shifting priorities in a fast-moving environment
- Build scalable processes and lay the foundation for a future TA team as the company continues to expand
The Successful Candidate
- Proven experience in Talent Acquisition, ideally within fintech, technology, e-commerce or high-growth environments
- Track record of building or professionalising recruitment processes, SLAs and metrics from scratch or in maturing functions
- Strong knowledge of the Malaysian talent market, sourcing channels, employment regulations and vendor management; multi-market APAC exposure is a plus
- Comfortable operating as a hands-on individual contributor while also capable of leading and developing others as the function grows
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to partner effectively with senior business leaders
- Analytical mindset with a focus on continuous process improvement and measurable outcomes
- Degree in Human Resources, Business or related field preferred
