Job Title: Cook

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook dishes according to the company’s recipes, quality standards and portion requirements.
• Ensure food is prepared and served promptly.
• Check the quality and freshness of ingredients before use.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and food-preparation areas.
• Follow food safety, workplace safety and sanitation procedures.
• Monitor ingredients and inform the supervisor when stock replenishment is required.
• Minimise food wastage and control ingredient usage.
• Properly clean and maintain kitchen equipment and utensils.
• Assist with receiving, checking and storing food supplies.
• Perform opening and closing duties when assigned.
• Work closely with kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Carry out other duties assigned by the Head Cook or Supervisor.

Job Requirements

• Relevant cooking or kitchen experience is preferred.
• Candidates without experience may be considered if willing to learn.
• Possess a valid Food Safety Course Level 1 certificate, or be willing to attend the course.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods.
• Responsible, punctual and able to work as part of a team.
• Able to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Basic knowledge of kitchen hygiene and food safety requirements.

Working Conditions

• Employment type: Full-time / Part-time
• Working location: Singapore
• Working hours: Based on outlet schedule
• Salary: S$2,000–S$2,800 per month, depending on experience
